Glenbrook Announces Tyler Cox as Head Softball Coach
Glenbrook Athletic Director, James Thurman, is pleased to announce the hiring of Tyler Cox as the school’s next head softball coach.
Coach Cox joins Glenbrook from Zwolle High School, where he led his teams to an impressive 48-15 record over the last two seasons. A graduate of Northwestern State University, Cox attended Logansport High School, where he was a standout baseball player. He is also currently a member of the coaching staff for the Illusions travel softball organization.
In addition to his responsibilities as head softball coach, Coach Cox will assist with football, and serve as coordinator for the Glenbrook elementary sports program.
Regarding his attraction to Glenbrook, Coach Cox stated, “I was drawn to Glenbrook because of the success the program is having and the potential to build on it, not only in softball but across all sports. The strong support for the program and the commitment to achieving the ultimate goal of winning a State Championship greatly impressed me. I am excited to be a part of this journey at Glenbrook!”
Glenbrook will host a “Meet the Coach” event this Thursday, May 30th at 6:00 PM in the school cafeteria.
