DUAL ENROLLMENT
Glenbrook, in collaboration with Bossier Parish Community College, offers courses that will provide students the opportunity to pursue college credit for a course while still in high school. The courses chosen for this project are on the Board of Regents Transfer Guide. Those courses currently include: English III (Honors), English IV (Honors), Biology II (Honors) and Chemistry (H). English IV Honors earns the student two college course credits. A student may earn a total of 15 college credits by taking the Dual Enrollment courses at Glenbrook.
In order to eligible for dual credit, students must meet the college, the Board of Regents, and Board of Elementary and Secondary Education requirements.
Online Courses
Taking courses online can be an excellent way for high school students to earn college credit or simply gain college-level experience in the classroom. Students may begin taking online courses their sophomore year. During high school years, students have the option to take as many as 15 college credits.
